Senior System Architect Modern Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Architect to lead and own the Mobile Device Management (MDM) strategy within their dynamic enterprise environment. This role is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving endpoint management solutions that prioritize security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. The Senior System Architect Modern Management will collaborate closely with product owners, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, technology vendors, and managed service partners to continuously enhance device management architecture and deliver superior digital end user experiences.

Responsibilities include:
* Developing governance frameworks and standards to ensure technology architecture compliance
* Leading system architecture reviews and ensuring adherence to enterprise design principles
* Collaborating with stakeholders to align architecture with organizational goals
* Evaluating and selecting technology platforms, tools, and frameworks based on market trends and enterprise needs
* Translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure system designs
* Defining system integration approaches to ensure interoperability across endpoint components
* Supporting development teams through system implementation and modification phases
* Driving technology innovation by piloting emerging solutions to improve user experience, security, and operational agility
* Documenting and communicating architecture designs and technical analyses

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; Equivalent experience accepted
* 5+ years of experience in system architecture with a focus on enterprise endpoint management
* Expertise with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF, including deployment, policy configuration, and ongoing administration in complex environments
* Proficiency managing iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS endpoints, including device enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies, encryption, and mobile security best practices
* Experience designing scalable and secure architectures balancing usability and operational efficiency
* Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure supporting endpoint management, including Azure AD/AD, certificate management, identity and access management, SSO, conditional access, and Zero Trust security models
* Preferred scripting skills in PowerShell, .NET, Python, or Bash to automate and extend MDM capabilities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
* Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative project delivery
* Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
* Business acumen with a strategic outlook aligned to organizational goals
* Experience with cloud computing concepts relevant to endpoint management
* Continuous improvement mindset focused on innovation and value creation
* Familiarity with IoT concepts and their integration into enterprise systems
* Competency in system performance monitoring, reliability, and ensuring high availability
* Expertise in systems design tailored to enterprise needs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
