Title- Project Manager // Business Functional Analyst - II
Location- Ashburn, VA (100% Remote)


Duration- 12+ Months Contract (Possibilities for extension)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years



Responsibilities:

Develop project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestone completions, project issues, project jeopardies, and overall project completion.

Deliver written/oral executive-level reporting, presentations and communications.

Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process-focused objectives.

Building Use Cases for new decisioning functionality and the impact to offer operations

Initiating milestones and timelines

Aligning people and a willingness to take action and follow through

Writing user stories

Developing comprehensive views that summarize activities for executive, marketing and technical leads

Responsible for producing high quality deliverables in a timely fashion.

Perform technical evaluation of products.

Perform user story grooming, iteration planning and retrospectives as well as implementation activities.

Responsible for analyzing problems for the overall system (s) and program (s) while acting independently.

Work as a team member and provides technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise on programs of varying complexity.

Ensure systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures.

Proactively communicate status reports and issues to manager.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's degree

Six or more years of relevant work experience; 3+ years' experience in managing large cross-functional projects

Experience with project and program management and a proven track record of successful project execution

Extensive JIRA expertise including Agile methodologies as it relates to project management

Knowledge and experience applying Agile project methodology concepts.

Knowledge and experience of project management concepts.

Experience with working collaboratively with a team of senior project managers and the program manager to give input around and support the strategic direction of the initiative as a whole.

Experience leading agile development projects as a business Team Member.

Strong decision-making and leadership abilities.

Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Excellent Technical (e.g., systems design) and/or analytical skills.

Excellent business knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Expert level experience with JIRA and Confluence.

DESIRED SKILLS:

SCRUM Master Certification

Experience with JIRA and Confluence

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree - more impressive if you have an MBA
