Description

We are looking for a skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, analyzing, and maintaining software solutions that align with business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual seeking a long-term contract position in the energy and natural resources industry.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software applications using Microsoft SQL, React, and Redux.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Create and manage REST APIs to ensure seamless integration between systems.
Utilize NoSQL and MongoDB to develop and maintain scalable database solutions.
Perform system analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Document technical processes and procedures to maintain clear communication across teams.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure software reliability and functionality.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with React and Redux for front-end development.
Strong knowledge of REST API integration.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
Ability to analyze system performance and implement solutions for optimization.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address software-related issues.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and new technologies.
