Job Description
One of TEKsystems's
long-standing customers, a multi-billion-dollar organization headquartered in
Birmingham, Alabama, is looking for a Sr. Desktop Technician/Jr. Systems
Administrator to join their team.
The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and
troubleshooting of the several thousand internal employees both onsite at
corporate and out at the field locations. There is a lot of project-based work,
and the technician needs to be experience with building images and deploying software
and OS to the organization. The client uses Gmail (G-suite) as well as
ServiceNow ticketing system.
The candidate is expected to come in and provide first-class customer service.
What that entails are very professional, but friendly internal communication
with peers as well as the end users. The client has a mantra of never saying
"no" or "I can't/won't..." -- if there is something that
this person is not familiar with, they will be expected to be resourceful and
ask other team members for assistance.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
