Harmonia Holdings has an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Specialist - IT (Tier III) to join our rapidly growing team supporting a federal government client.

Job Summary:
The Hardware Specialist - IT (Tier III) is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware infrastructure to support organizational IT systems. This role involves providing expert-level technical guidance, troubleshooting complex hardware issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of hardware components. A Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI is required for this position. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred but not required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of hardware infrastructure solutions to meet organizational IT requirements.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and assistance for complex hardware-related issues.
  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware problems, implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop hardware standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate emerging hardware technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on organizational needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for hardware configurations, specifications, and procedures.
  • Mentor and train junior hardware technicians, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with hardware security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in IT project planning, coordination, and implementation as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware infrastructure management or related role.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
  • Expert-level knowledge of hardware components, configurations, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ are preferred but not required
