TITLE: Senior .Net Developer

LOCATION: Hoffmann Estates, IL Need only Locals

ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 3 months initial, with quarterly extensions possible based on performance

PLACEMENT TYPE: Contract

SCHEDULE/ REMOTE FLEXIBILITY: 3 days onsite at Hoffman Estates

WORK HOURS: 9-5 CST

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Azure AZ-305 preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: minimum 5 years with .Net Core and microservices

INTERVIEW PROCESS: 2 round technical

PREFERRED INTERVIEW TIMES: 9-5 CST

TEAM SIZE: 100+

PURPOSE/ MISSION OF TEAM: Continued development and maintenance of new digital manufacturing platform Syncora

 

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced .NET developer to build and maintain high-performance applications using modern technologies and cloud-native architectures.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with .NET 6+
  • Kubernetes and Microservices architecture expertise
  • Apache Kafka implementation experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Preferred skill

  • Working experience with Workflow Core framework

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop applications using .NET 6+ and C#
  • Design and implement business workflows with Workflow Core
  • Build and deploy microservices on Kubernetes
  • Integrate Kafka for event-driven messaging
  • Debug and resolve production issues
  • Collaborate on technical solutions and code reviews

Nice to Have

  • Cloud platform experience (Azure)
  • DevOps and CI/CD knowledge
  • Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
