Job Title: Quality Assurance Testing Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Testing Specialist to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role involves developing and executing formal test plans, writing and automating test cases, and performing quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
Responsibilities

• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive mitigation strategies and solutions.
• Develop and execute test cases and use cases using Python scripting for JAVA middleware development.
• Conduct testing using REST, JSON, Jenkins, Splunk, and Swagger.
• Define and execute relevant business scenarios to satisfy real-world business needs.
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
• Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, integrating them into business processes.
• Document all problems and assist in their resolution.
• Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant.
• Perform quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of overall QA testing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hand-coded Python scripting experience.
• Experience with automated testing and QA testing in JAVA.
• 5 years of Windows software QA and testing experience in an agile environment using the scrum framework.
• Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like C# and Python.
• Experience with API testing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with high standards of quality.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly shift priorities and adapt to change.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with media planning and buying workflows and software systems.
• Ability to function well within a team, collaborating with POs, BAs, developers, and other team members.

Work Environment
This position requires onsite work in Philadelphia for 4 days and allows for remote work 1 day a week. The role operates within an agile environment using the scrum framework.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
