Job Details
Job Title:- Azure Cloud Developer (Senior) role
Duration:- 6-12+ months
Location:- Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)
Seeking an Azure Cloud Developer to lead the design, implementation, and automation of Azure infrastructure for a financial services client. This hands-on role involves architecting scalable infrastructure, driving CI/CD pipeline efficiency, and contributing to DevOps transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise with Azure services, Terraform, scripting, and enterprise deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support CI/CD pipelines across Azure environments.
- Use Terraform to provision, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure.
- Execute deployment runbooks and adjust infrastructure as needed.
- Work with internal tools (e.g., Jet and Jewels) to manage deployments.
- Administer core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, and identity.
- Support Azure messaging systems such as Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment readiness. Required Qualifications
- 8 10+ years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for building and managing complex infrastructure at scale.
- Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert knowledge of Azure services including compute, networking, IAM, and storage.
- Strong scripting experience in Python or other languages for automation.
- Ability to lead infrastructure initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive architectural decisions.
- Experience with internal DevOps platforms such as Jet and Jewels or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization or DevOps transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows, infrastructure testing, and policy-as-code.
- Expertise in implementing security, governance, and compliance in Azure environments.
- Certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
