Job Details
Title: Android Developer (Consumer Mobile App) - W2
Location: Dallas, TX-Onsite
Duration: 12 Months
What You ll Do
Design and build Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
Deliver high-impact, customer-facing functionality in the consumer app
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams
Champion modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin
- Strong experience using Jetpack Compose
- Experience building consumer-facing Android apps used at scale (millions of users)
- Ability to design and build Android features end-to-end
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture:
- MVVM
- Clean Architecture
- Experience working on core app features such as:
- Authentication
- User profile management
- Loyalty or rewards-related functionality (nice alignment)
Collaboration & Work Style Requirements
- Ability to work cross-functionally with:
- Product Managers
- Designers
- Backend Engineers
- QA teams
- Comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders and explaining technical concepts clearly
- Able to articulate projects, features, and tools effectively
- Actively engages with the team on a daily basis
