Title: Sr. Sourcing Specialist (Supply Chain/Aerospace)

Location: Remote + 15-25% travel to supplier sites

Project/Application: Oxford s client is designing a world-class aircraft focused on a dramatic reduction in fuel burn and allow a sizeable improvement in cabin comfort. Their preliminary design review is scheduled for Oct 2025.
Brief Position Overview: Oxford s client needs a senior level Sourcing Specialist to join their supply chain team. This role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services necessary for various projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master s degree
At least 7 years experience in sourcing or supply chain management in the avionics/aerospace industry
Develop and implement procurement strategies considering factors such as technological advancements, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
Conduct extensive market research to identify aerospace suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess their compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Review and negotiate contracts with aerospace suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry-specific requirements and regulations
Ensure strict compliance with aerospace industry regulations, standards, and certifications, such as AS9100, ITAR, and NADCAP.
Preferred:
Operations/Manufacturing/Structural experience in the aerospace industry
