Title: Solution Architect - Digital Consumer Banking
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Quincy
Job Type: Contract with potential for extension or full-time employment
Overview: We are seeking a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Digital Consumer Banking to lead strategic architecture initiatives and influence technology decisions across the organization. This role involves working closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design scalable, compliant, and innovative solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand strategy and future needs
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on strategic architecture matters
- Lead discovery analysis and define technical solutions through blueprint documentation
- Collaborate with architecture and IT teams to design and implement retail banking processes and technologies
- Develop architectural roadmaps that balance IT efficiency with business innovation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational improvements
- Guide and mentor teams on best practices, design standards, and implementation strategies
- Act as liaison between business units and IT throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct current state analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Evaluate compliance with technology standards and support implementation planning
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on digital banking
- Strong understanding of banking functions including customer authentication, payments, bill pay, and monetary movements
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API-led design
- Integration design expertise, including use case sequence diagrams and logical/functional architecture diagrams
- Proven ability to influence business decisions and communicate effectively with senior leadership
