Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Production Support Tier 3 within our team. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented developer to provide advanced technical support and solutions for enterprise systems. This role focuses on resolving production issues, identifying system defects, and delivering timely fixes to ensure optimal system functionality. This person will work closely with both technical and functional teams, employing defect management tools to track, reproduce, and resolve system inefficiencies while adhering to service level agreements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in software engineering, enterprise systems, front-end development platforms, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track system issues using approved defect management tools such as Atlassian Jira.
  • Reproduce system defects in test environments, document findings, and ensure timely resolution.

Defect Resolution:

  • Provide solutions, corrections, and system updates within specified contractual timelines.
  • Execute emergency system updates to address Priority 1 and Priority 2 defects that require immediate resolution outside of scheduled release cycles.

System Reporting & Documentation:

  • Capture and report system deficiencies, maintenance requests, and user inquiries effectively.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports and corrective action plans, adhering to timeframes set for various priority levels.

Client Collaboration:

  • Participate in client conference calls during unscheduled system outages and maintain timely communication regarding defect progress.
  • Notify clients of Priority 1 deficiencies within one hour of occurrence and Priority 2 deficiencies within one calendar day, ensuring ongoing updates until resolution.

Compliance & SLA Adherence:

  • Assist leadership in ensuring compliance with service level agreements by addressing deficiencies, changing defect priority levels as directed, and documenting corrective measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, product maintenance, or enhancement of enterprise systems (e.g., case management systems such as Salesforce).
  • Proven proficiency in front-end development platforms and Salesforce technologies.
  • Experience using defect management tools like Atlassian Jira for tracking and resolving system issues.
  • Ability to debug complex code and recommend effective fixes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of design documentation with the ability to collaborate on defect fixes and system enhancements.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and functional teams.
  • Agile certification or 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $85,000.00 - $120,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributor in a Software Development position.
