Apex Systems has an Immediate Need for an HBSS / Endpoint Security Engineer in Hampton, VA!! This will be an estimated "12-36 Month Contract" supporting one of our Largest Government Clients on the East Coast! Please see below for all details.

- Secret Security Clearance ** Eligibility **

- Security+ CE ( IAT II Certification )

- 4+ Years of HBSS / ESS / ACAS / Endpoint Security / DLP or Similar

Job Description

  • Able to review SIEM, Syslog, and other monitoring tools for security alerts, misconfigurations, or possible security-related events.
  • Able to support Infrastructure Team members on security-related questions, product reviews, and security-related implementations to ensure an ever-increasing security posture.
  • Able to configure and use security-related tools in Cloud and On-premises environments; examples: ACAS, HBSS, CloudWatch, LogRhythm, Microsoft System Center, etc.
  • Able to support Cloud and On-premises Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure security using a mixture of industry best practices, vendor specific security documentation, DISA STIG guidance, and KR policies and procedures to ensure the most secure computing environments to ADCP customers and team members.
