Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Entry Level Desktop Support Analyst to assist our client in a device roll-out and move. This role is ideal for individuals with experience either from school or work in IT support role and who enjoy hands-on tasks and problem-solving. You will play a key role in transitioning equipment to a new headquarters, ensuring all systems are operational and supporting end users with technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Assist in relocating equipment from the current office to the new headquarters, ensuring all devices are securely transported and properly installed.
Collaborate with team members to test and verify functionality of hardware and systems after installation.
Follow detailed schedules and guidelines to ensure equipment is placed correctly and operational within designated areas.
Respond to Level 1 and Level 2 support tickets, addressing technical issues experienced by end users.
Provide general IT support to staff, resolving hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
Maintain clear communication with end users to explain solutions and assist with technical challenges.
Uphold high standards of accuracy when handling equipment to avoid errors or disruptions during the transition.
Meet physical demands of the role, including standing or walking for extended periods as needed.
Work within a dynamic environment supporting approximately 700 users across multiple facilities.
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within the contract duration of 1-2 months.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in IT desktop support or help desk roles, gained through work or education.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with tools such as Active Directory, Windows 10, and desktop imaging.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end users in person.
High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely to avoid disruptions.
Comfortable with physical demands such as standing and walking for long periods during work hours.
Experience handling service desk tickets and managing user requests.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
