With a vision to "Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more," Global Partner Solutions (GPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions-at scale! The Partner Go-To-Market (GTM), Programs, & Operations team within GPS brings together the Go-to-Market strategy, enablement programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

The GPS Global Enablement team engages across Microsoft's Azure, Business Applications, Modern Work, and the Security cloud solution area business groups to deliver partner capability and capacity training at scale through custom global skilling plans designed to meet business goals.

The Senior Partner Enablement Strategy Manager, Microsoft 365 AI/Copilot & Modern Work role puts you at the heart of Microsoft's investment in partner skilling, within one of the world's largest companies.

As a member of Microsoft's GPS Global Partner Enablement Team, you will be responsible for designing and driving end-to-end the Modern Work enablement strategy and execution plan that will help partners increase their ability to create new customer opportunities and drive revenue.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.


Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a customer and/or partner facing role, optimally dealing with a variety of audiences - customers, partners (System Integration(SI), Advisory, Consulting, Services, Independent Software Vendors (ISV)), strategy, marketing, or business development or program management
  • 5+ years working directly with partner ecosystem, the ability to provide valuable business and technical guidance to them and to secure their commitment to use business solutions and Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Understanding Microsoft's Modern Work cloud solution and Microsoft 365 AI/Copilot area is encouraged. Product management, engineering or technical skilling program or communications experience highly valued.
  • History in successfully designing, operationalizing, creating learning journeys and taking to market enablement programs that achieve key outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple stakeholders to define and achieve shared business targets.
  • Ability to articulate both business and technical value of Microsoft cloud services to senior business and technical decision makers.
  • Results-driven, and organized approach; with an attention to detail: Someone who can create and deliver scalable plans from concept to delivery, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, effectively driving to measurable results.
  • The ability to work cross-team in ambiguous and changing environments, along with excellent listening and partnering skills. Must be comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment, and leading program v-teams or workstreams aligned to shared goals and measures.
  • Engagement: Storytelling skills and passion for delighting partners, advocating on their behalf, creating great partner experiences, and understanding the linkage between these experiences and business success.
  • Brings demonstrated experience proposing, creating, and managing executive-level proposals and presentations. Demonstrates ability to make data-driven investment decisions.
  • Executive Relations: The ability to interact confidently with senior leaders in a highly matrixed organization to present/defend/clarify concerns or issues regarding an existing project, program, or solution. This includes the ability to confidently address difficult questions, handle pushback from a high-level audience, and maintain an executive demeanour while engaging in challenging or sometimes high-pressure situations.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Business Strategy Lead for Enablement, Business, and engineering teams and the Regional Enablement Leads to build your Enablement Plan, owning the planning, orchestration, and delivery of Enablement motions inclusive of -Technical enablement, Depth Enablement and Sales/ Pre-Sales Enablement to exceed enablement goals anchored on mainstream solution plays that may or may not have a certification associated.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment on enablement deliverables and outcomes to partners worldwide, driving toward all-up Modern Work training and certification goals.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the Modern Work enablement aperture with a focus on AI/Copilot
  • Be an agile and collaborative team member, comfortable working in partnership across multiple functional teams, including - Field, Engineering, Business Groups, Worldwide Learning, GTM, and direct with Partners and possess the ability to influence stakeholders to meet and exceed your enablement goals.
  • Specifically ensure the partner's voice is heard, bringing the right technical and sales enablement efforts to market to enable partner success across all Modern Work priority partner segments.
  • Contribute to the development of the team as a partner enablement center of excellence to drive best practice definition and sharing across the GPS organization and stakeholder groups.
  • You operate with a high level of operational rigor around execution to plan and financial management, providing transparency into your workstreams, tracking progress toward shared goals, and clearly identifying areas of opportunity and risk, consistently hitting deadlines, delivering consistent business updates to Microsoft business group leadership teams, and innovating to drive efficiencies wherever possible.
  • You have experience at designing and executing global virtual in-person event experiences and hackathons.
  • Gather actionable business insights that will frame and feed our v-next strategy and go to market approach.
  • Ensure all Microsoft brand and messaging standards are met for all joint partner marketing campaigns and content, as well as privacy and compliance requirements.
