Job Details
We are looking for a Software Engineer for a long-term ON-SITE contract opportunity in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced-level programming tasks to develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions that meet user and business needs
- Analyze system flows, data usage, and work processes to design effective software solutions in collaboration with end users
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, investigating root causes and implementing targeted solutions
- Design and implement system specifications and programming standards to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable software
- Write, test, debug, and document sophisticated applications, including client/server and web-based systems, using C# (.NET), Blazor, and SQL
- Create and enhance front-end and back-end web applications by developing custom routines and programs using HTML5, CSS, C# .NET Blazor, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Collaborate with systems analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, address technical constraints, and design appropriate solutions
- Provide ongoing application support for software systems, including diagnosing and resolving issues and applying updates to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of advanced programming solutions that improve application functionality and performance
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in software development projects
You:
- 4+ years of holding a Bachelor s degree or higher
- 4+ years of working in the development of web-based software applications
- 4+ years of conducting root cause analysis and problem resolution
- 4+ years of hands-on programming using languages including but not limited to .Net, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET/C#, front-end and back-end user interface methodologies and technologies, SQL, and stored procedures
- 4+ years of proficiency in web development with .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
- 3+ years of applying Agile SDLC methodology in project work
- 3+ years of contributing to team efforts involving various SDLC-related tasks
- 3+ years of collaborating within teams to gather requirements and deliver software enhancements or maintenance
- 3+ years of delivering in-person demonstrations of software application changes for customer approval
- 2+ years of utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
- 1+ years of coding with C# .NET Blazor
- Experience migrating legacy Java codebases to C# .NET Blazor (Preferred)
- Experience with implementing responsive web design principles and techniques (Preferred)
- Experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in web projects (Preferred)
