Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage, optimize, and automate infrastructure and application environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, Kubernetes orchestration, storage technologies, monitoring tools, and automation. This role involves improving system reliability, building automation frameworks, and supporting production environments with a focus on scalability, performance, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS) including file systems, utilities, and shell scripting.
Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes environments (on-prem, Rancher) with strong knowledge of Kubernetes objects.
Work with storage technologies (ONTAP preferred) including volumes, aggregates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Ansible, Python) to improve infrastructure deployment, validation, and monitoring.
Schedule and manage monitoring scripts using cron and Airflow.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (Dynatrace, Apica, Grafana, Loki) for system performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and support databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and improve reliability.
Leverage AWS cloud services for scalable infrastructure management.
Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management to ensure high system availability.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on expertise with Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
Proficiency in Python and scripting (Shell/Ansible).
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (on-prem, Rancher, Kubernetes objects).
Experience with Storage technologies (ONTAP preferred).
Proficiency with Monitoring & Reporting tools (Grafana, Loki, Dynatrace, Apica).
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS required, multi-cloud is a plus).
Exposure to Airflow for workflow scheduling.
Strong troubleshooting skills for SQL and NoSQL databases.
