The ERP Services organization is responsible to provide support and advancement of enterprise grade solutions that power the operations of Eli Lilly. The System Engineer - SAP Quality Management role is primarily responsible for collaborating with our Quality business partners, influencing business processes, tools and operating models within the SAP technical solution and the quality business area. The role is required to work across various teams and business process; and assist the business to shape the future using technology and information in new ways. This position will work with the ERP Services Organization, SAP Supply Chain Management group.

How You Will Succeed
  • Manage and participate in day-to-day operations, enhancements, and projects. This includes understanding business impact and evaluating/recommending technical options.
  • Interact and collaborate with global and local Business Partners as appropriate, to better understand the business and its priorities and represent their requirements within SAP.
  • Partner with the business in assessing and defining requirements and drive the development of cases and system solutions.
  • Identify and ensure delivery of knowledge transfer needs between IT and our business partners.
  • Promote and deliver process improvements to drive business process optimization.
  • Partner and handle third party providers to complete delivery of day-to-day operations, incidents, system enhancements and projects. This includes service level management, resource evaluations, partner concerns of system issues and oversight of the change management processes.
  • Work directly with business to research, solve, and lead resolution for issues.
  • Effectively prioritize and raise issues.
  • Continuously improve the operations of the SAP Supply Chain & Manufacturing team
  • Responsible for delivering solutions on time, on budget and in a quality and compliant manner.

Your Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of Development, configuration, and/or support experience in SAP Quality Management Module

Other Information:
  • Position is in Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Travel may be required of up to 20% of the time.
  • We work on a hybrid full time day shift schedule. Occasional off hours and weekend work is expected as this position serves a global organization.
