Senior Front End Engineer

This client seeks a highly experienced Senior Front End Engineer to lead the development of scalable, high-performance web platforms within the MERN stack, with a focus on React, performance optimization, and user experience. The role involves designing complex component architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring code quality across multiple repositories, ideal for a professional with 7+ years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess deep expertise in React, JavaScript, and full-stack integration, along with strong skills in performance tuning, accessibility, and modern development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable React component architecture for complex platforms

- Optimize application performance, bundle size, and load times

- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into accessible, performant code

- Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems

- Integrate frontend with Node.js/Express backends and MongoDB

- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to standards

- Manage complex state management across multiple features

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment strategies

- Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning

1. Over 7 years of experience in front-end engineering, with proven expertise in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

2. Extensive experience building and maintaining scalable React component architectures, state management solutions, and integrating with Node.js/Express backends.

3. Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, responsive design, and modern front-end tooling such as Webpack, Vite, and CI/CD pipelines.

4. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
