Meridian Technologies is currently seeking a Dev/Research Engineer 2 for an opportunity in Mossville, IL!

Summary:

  • Position Title: Dev/Research Engineer 2
  • Location: Mossville, IL 61523/On-site
  • Anticipated start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Indefinite
  • Special requirements: Travel 0-10%
  • Must be able to work on W2 as an hourly Meridian Employee

Job Requirements:

  • BS in Materials Science and Engineering
  • 2-4 years experience required.
  • At a minimum, exposure to metallurgical laboratory equipment

Desired skills:

  • Experience performing failure analysis

Job Responsibilities:

  • The main function of a research engineer is to research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes. A typical research engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints.
