Job Details
Job Title: Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC (On-Site Required)
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $65/HR
No C2C. Must be able to work on W2.
Job/Role Description:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Data Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Document use case inventories, data element inventories, data source data element dictionaries, Approved Data Source (ADS) inventories, System Of Record (SOR) inventories, and standard data quality checks.
- Identify and recommend analysis of data quality checks or data integrity issues.
- Document new data sources and data elements and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data.
- Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
- Adhere to data governance and data management policy, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy.
- Perform analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Understanding database structure (how data moves, data movement/data element controls)
- Technical aptitude for understanding and manipulating data
- Data governance and/or data management experience
- Metadata Tool (e.g. Collibra or ADMF) experience
- Data analysis tools (Alteryx) experience
- Data mapping experience
- JIRA usage and/or development experience
- Data visualization tool experience (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
- SharePoint experience
- Regulatory Report (BSA/AML) knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of the banking and finance industry
- Commercial Lending Product Knowledge
- Understanding of Data Management policy
- Understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment
- Experience working in Corporate Risk, Audit, or Independent Testing
- Understanding of key regulatory compliance risk components
- Stakeholder Management/collaboration (internal partners, management and lines of business regarding risk management)
- Experience with reviewing and research moderately complex potential data defects, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution
- Moderate Coding Skills (SQL, Python)
- Proficiency with data flows, report outputs, and data dictionaries
- Accounting Reconciliations
- Project Management experience
- Understanding of data security protocols and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication (written, verbal/speaking, and listening) and interpersonal skills (knowing your audience)
- Ability to present and lead/facilitate meetings with peers and management level individuals
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and scope
