This position requires continued progression of technical and project management skills. The successful candidate is expected to help manage construction issues for manufacturing and testing of submarine systems and components.

Duties include problem solving and troubleshooting, evaluation of construction and design errors, and preparation of written engineering documents via UNSATs, Post Delivery Deficiency Items (PDDIs), Ripouts, Engineering Reports, and Technical Work Documents. Engineers will communicate engineering assessment with Operations Trade, Planning, and Ship's Management organizations. They are also expected to relay shipyard priorities to appropriate engineering groups.

Weekend and evening support is required as needed to support shipyard needs, key events, and certification.
