Job Description Summary
Raymond James is seeking a Senior Windows Delivery Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Windows environments, endpoint management, and modern deployment technologies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, implementing secure and scalable solutions, and driving innovation across our enterprise workstation infrastructure.

Job Description

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.

Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitors the day-to-day performance of the infrastructure and works with project teams on the integration of new systems.
  • Creates strategies and develops resolutions for complex problems, incidents and outage situations. Provides third-level support for the workstation-supporting infrastructure.
  • Implement required security measures, and provide input on their design, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems.
  • Perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
  • Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
  • Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to limit and address issues promptly.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Level experience
  • Expert level troubleshooting and system monitoring and event analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
  • Experience with Tanium
  • Intermediate scripting experience with PowerShell
  • Experience with software deployments through Microsoft - Intune / WinGet in SCCM Hybrid management
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Modern management in hybrid Entra environment.
  • Experience with Application packaging and deployment
  • Knowledge of security best practices for Windows-based systems CIS benchmarks
  • Knowledge of basic IP network design practices and principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory architecture Group Policy deployments to workstation environment
  • Experience of virtualization concepts and technologies.

Ability to:
  • Work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
  • Support business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed.
  • Develop appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Develop software using programming languages.
  • Monitor, Diagnose and fix technological problems.
  • Maintain the security, integrity, compliance and continuity of IT systems and services.
  • Articulate the customer needs in the customer's business language and business context.

Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor's: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)
