Job Description
This position provides technical support to craft and supervision on the project. Also supports Quality by providing Quality oversight in their daily activities, as required.
The junior-level CSA Field Engineer/Drafter position will work at the direction of the CSA Lead Field Engineer and Project Field Engineer in support of change documentation development.
This is a computer aided design intensive position with the potential for development as a CSA Field Engineer.
Perform construction engineering work requiring application of standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in performing a sequence of related construction engineering tasks
Assist craftsmen and foreman with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings
Perform surveillance/examinations, if required, to ensure that the Quality objectives are being met for the project
Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
Construction Management degree or global equivalent
Typically has four (4) years of project experience
Ability to speak/read multiple languages
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic or intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic or intermediate use of spreadsheets
Other Job Requirements
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar computer aided design software and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.)
