Tech Lead

A highly scalable, rapidly growing financial technology company is looking for passionate Senior and Lead Software Engineers who are looking to help the company achieve its goal of becoming a world leader in the commodities trading marketplace. This organization is like the New York Stock Exchange but for commodities trading. Think RobinHood, but for trading energy futures, water futures, precious metals like gold and silver, along with other commodities.

They have significant backing from one of the largest exchange groups in the world, and have the growth trajectory to hire extensively through 2024 and beyond. They have a back end built on Java, Spring Boot, leveraging React and EXT.js, and working in the cloud space as well, using AWS/Google Cloud Platform. You will get great exposure to a cutting edge tech stack, and will be surrounded by incredible engineers and senior management, offering tons of opportunity for growth in a work hard, play hard environment!

Skills & Technologies

• Required
  • College Degree
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and System Design
  • Programming in Java, Spring Boot
  • Exposure to AWS, k8s, Lambda functions
• "Nice to have"
  • Experience with EXT.js, React, and other JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Past experience leading teams and task distributions
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Financial domain experience
