We seek a highly talented Principal Software Engineer or Technical Lead to drive the design and development of Oracle Analytics, our industry-leading data analytics platform. In this critical role, you will lead the technical direction of both our frontend and backend systems, working with modern JavaScript frameworks and enterprise-grade Java services and Rest APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that empower global organizations to turn data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable product features across both frontend (JavaScript) and backend (Java) tech stacks.
• Drive the development and integration of robust, standards-compliant REST APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Build resuable code, frameworks, and libraries for future use.
• Develop new user facing features.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Secure applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting best coding practices and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-performing analytics tools.
• Ensure code quality, test coverage, performance, and security across all areas of the product.
• Review, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes for continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
