Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join an incredible client of ours in Irvine, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping product strategies, fostering key vendor relationships, and driving cross-functional collaboration to enhance market presence for a marquee consumer product brand (within the home improvement space). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, marketing, and leadership, with a passion for delivering impactful results.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement product strategies, including pricing models and vendor partnerships, to align with business objectives.

Lead and mentor a team of product managers and vendor managers, fostering growth and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and joint business planning, to strengthen alliances.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Technology, Operations, and Training to ensure cohesive product planning and execution.

Spearhead sales reporting and forecasting initiatives to inform strategic decisions.

Develop long-term product roadmaps and execute plans to enhance product offerings and market positioning.

Drive strategic alliances and manage specialty product lines, providing day-to-day guidance to the team.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support team development.

Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
At least ten years of experience in product management, development, or marketing.
Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Excellent leadership and mentorship capabilities to develop high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and executives.
Experience in the home furnishings, interior design, or fashion industry is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel nationally and globally as needed.
