RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Laurel, MD that is seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement Oracle C2M solutions within the OUAF framework
* Configure and customize C2M modules to meet functional and technical business requirements
* Develop integration components between Oracle C2M and KUBRA payment systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable payment processing workflows
* Leverage APIs, XAI, and web services (SOAP/REST) for external system integrations
* Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions
* Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and hands-on training for WSSC internal IT staff to build in-house expertise
* Document technical designs, configurations, integration logic, and training materials
* Perform unit and system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployments
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities development, with at least 2 years focused on Oracle C2M
* Demonstrated experience with KUBRA payment processing integration, including secure payment workflows and reconciliation
* Strong hands-on skills in Java, Groovy, SQL/PLSQL, OUAF, and batch processing frameworks
* Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and experience with related Oracle products like C2M
* Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, XAI, SOAP/REST integrations
* Proven track record in training or mentoring IT staff, preferably in a utility or government environment
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
