Then it's time to join the Western Union's Digital Wallet team as a Manager, Business Analyst - Digital Wallet.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing functional requirements to help build and launch a new digital wallet for our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering teams, to analyze, design and scope enhancements necessary to deliver our core product.

Role Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end process from a functional/technical perspective
  • Analyze business requirements and tailor the use of various system to meet those requirements
  • Guide technical teams to deliver a flexible and scalable solution
  • Provide solution options and present technical/business trade-offs
  • Collaborate with Agile engineering teams to scope and size the work
  • Create functional documentation including functional flows, architectural graphs, API flows, and field mapping
  • Support product team by converting business requirements into functional requirements for happy paths, unhappy paths, edge cases, error-handling, and system failure scenarios
  • Identify potential UX/UI impacts from functional requirements
  • Drive cross-functional discussions including collaborating with engineering teams to provide all necessary documentation to implement requirements
  • Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines


Role Requirements
  • Banking or financial technology experience in one or more of the following areas: digital banking, core banking, account opening, money transfers, card processing, payments or accounting systems
  • In-depth knowledge of IT and computer science principles
  • Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Accounting and settlement experience a plus
  • Ecosystem and enterprise architecture experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of work experience

Salary

The on-target earnings range is $86,624 - $144,100 per year, which includes a base salary, short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
