Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
- The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- The role requires strong expertise in Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and data analysis to support the delivery of high-value projects.
- Gather Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to elicit and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies.
- Write User Stories: Translate business needs into clear, concise, and testable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prioritize Backlog: Support the Product Owner in maintaining a prioritized product backlog focused on delivering maximum business value.
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Engage in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement.
- Document Processes: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, use cases, and user stories.
- Analyze Data: Perform data analysis to uncover business insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and support decision-making.
- 10 15 years of experience in Agile development environments, with at least 5 years as a BSA.
- Strong experience in business analysis and data analysis.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies, including TDD and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL for data manipulation or automation.
- Knowledge of other Agile frameworks.
- Advanced leadership and servant leadership skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Master s degree is a plus.
