Description
We're looking for a motivated and adaptable Computer Support Specialist to join our IT team. This position primarily focuses on Tier 1 helpdesk support, assisting users with a wide range of technical issues. It's an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their IT career in a collaborative environment where you'll wear many hats and gain exposure to various technologies and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Assist with user account management, including password resets and permissions, primarily using Active Directory.
Support and maintain Microsoft 365 applications and services.
Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including workstation setup and decommissioning.
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to learn and take on new challenges across different areas of IT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
