Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills:

• Bachelor s Degree or greater in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review and unit testing for embedded devices.
• Experience in executing and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, product owners and architects.
• High proficiency with modern C, C++, C++11/C++14 or C++17 preferred.
• Know how to build effective abstractions over low-level SoC details.
• Love solving complex system-level issues
• Very good experience in object-oriented programming and design skills, JavaScript, HTML5, Linux OS, Make file, Python, Other development/build tools and scripting languages.
• Extensive experience with POSIX-based embedded systems, one or more of Android, Linux, QNX.
• Solid foundational knowledge of inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).

Additional Skills:

• Proficiency with multiple communications paradigms: client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe.
• Extensive experience with IP-based communications and protocols, for example: HTTP, TLS, REST, Websockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, HLS.
• Experience working with diverse engineering teams.

Title: C++ Linux UI Developer
Location: Dallas TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C++ Linux UI Developer to design and develop user interfaces for applications running on Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++, experience with UI frameworks like Qt, GTK, or wxWidgets, and a solid understanding of Linux development environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong C++ (11/14/17) programming experience.
• Proficiency in UI development using Qt, GTK, wxWidgets, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in Linux application development, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with multithreading, concurrency, and IPC mechanisms.
• Knowledge of OpenGL, Vulkan, or other graphics libraries is a plus.

Title: Sr. Embedded C++ Developer (Media Domain)

Location: Dallas, TX (Day 1 onsite)

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in C11 and C++17 (or higher), with experience in memory management, templates, and STL usage
• Experience in system-level design, architecture, integration, and design patterns
• Comprehensive understanding of networking and communication protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTPS, and TLS
• Familiarity with Linux OS environments, including shell scripting, process management, and system administration tasks, with experience in working with filesystems, processes, and permissions
• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering robust solutions
• Knowledge of git workflows for version control and collaborative development

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in firmware development for hardware media pipelines
• Proficiency in various audio/video formats (e.g., h264, H265, AV1, mp4, cmaf, ts) and associated analysis tools
• Familiarity with multimedia frameworks like GStreamer, ffmpeg, etc.
• Expertise in video streaming technologies and playback mechanisms, including HLS, MPEG-DASH, and GStreamer
