RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Castle Rock, CO that is seeking an IT Project Manager who will manage multiple software projects across different teams, helping ensure smooth delivery while contributing to high-impact organizational initiatives.
Summary:
The IT Project Manager assigned to the IT PMO works hands-on to lead, drive and deliver IT strategic projects assigned to them. They will be responsible and accountable for the execution and successful completion of inflight projects throughout all life-cycle phases following delivery processes and practices as established by the IT PMO Services division. We lead a broad range of projects - COTS/SaaS application upgrades, replacement and implementation, infrastructure, software development, BI, data access and reporting, cyber security, integration, asset and workflow management, permitting, licensing and inspection workflow, geospatial technology, financial/HRIS systems and AI.
Responsibilities:
* Manage 3-5 concurrent software projects, including SaaS/COTS implementations and integrations
* Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure successful delivery and adoption
* Drive project planning, execution, and reporting while mitigating risk
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management, Project Management or a closely related field is not required, but is highly desired
* Ten (10) years of hands-on experience doing Information Technology project management project work with progressive growth in roles, responsibilities and scope/scale of project work, and an indepth knowledge of project management and delivery processes is required (e.g. Waterfall, Hybrid, OCM, etc.)
* A verifiable Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI Institute is highly desired; In lieu of a PMP certification, a Master's degree in Project Management (MPM) is recognized as equivalent
* Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification (CCP) from Prosci and experience is a plus
* In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid, OCM)
* General IT knowledge is required to validate tasks and time requirements, with hands-on technical experience is a plus
* Microsoft Dynamics/D365 experience is nice to have
* A combination of education and experience may be considered
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
