Job Title: Java & Snowflake Support Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Snowflake Support Engineer with expertise in Java, Splunk, Snowflake, Databricks, Control-M, data storage, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipeline. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise systems, ensuring high availability, optimizing performance across cloud and containerized environments, and supporting CI/CD automation workflows using Azure Pipeline.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure using Java, Splunk, Snowflake, Databricks, Control-M, and Azure services.
  • Monitor system health, investigate issues, and implement resolutions to optimize performance.
  • Manage and improve Control-M job scheduling workflows to enhance automation efficiency.
  • Utilize Splunk for log analysis, alerting, and proactive monitoring of systems.
  • Support Snowflake and Databricks environments, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications within Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and scalability.
  • Work with Docker containers to support microservices architecture and software deployment.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipeline for automated software deployment.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD workflows and automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides, support processes, and operational best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java development, debugging, and application support.
  • Hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling and automation.
  • Expertise in Splunk for log monitoring and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of Snowflake and Databricks for data storage and processing.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, networking, and security.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Proficiency in Docker for containerization and microservices deployment.
  • Experience managing CI/CD workflows using Azure Pipeline.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
  • Prior experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
