Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Newark, NJ. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence two days per week. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, particularly across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules, with a strong focus on custom scripting, integrations, and JavaScript proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customized ServiceNow solutions and enhancements across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules

  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs and other methods

  • Create and manage complex workflows, business rules, UI actions, and client scripts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning

  • Ensure platform stability, scalability, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a strong command of JavaScript and custom scripting

  • Hands-on expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including integrations and data architecture

  • Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • Certified Implementation Specialist in HAM, SAM, or Discovery
