The high-energy Product Associate role in Retail Technical Security is a position of trust that requires strong critical thinking, decision-making, independent initiative, and curiosity to learn and grow perfect for a self starter who exhibits intellectual curiosity. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that span people, process, and technology, and is accountable to Global Security Product Directors and Product Owners as primary stakeholders.

Job Summary:

As a Product Associate in Global Technical Security, you will be able to synthesize security industry trends, map innovative or emerging technologies to business and customer needs, clearly communicate benefits and ROI, provide tours and demonstrations to senior leaders and support piloting of new and existing Technical Security hardware and software solutions. Occasionally, this will include hands-on assembly of demonstration environments or installation and mounting of security components to test. This role requires strong project management skills navigating through tollgates of ideation, funding, planning, execution and closing of a project.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee conformance testing - design, build, manage, configure, and maintain various security testing platforms and environments for networked and serial communicating devices like surveillance cameras, security applications, and microprocessor controllers
  • Support the Product Owners with compliance and audit tasks such as maintaining KPIs and providing supporting evidence of control completion
  • Collaborate with internal training partners to guide updates to job aides and operating procedures, collect and analyze metrics and prepare technical documentation across multiple lines of business
  • Present intelligent and articulate presentations while demonstrating to senior leaders
  • Absorb details on new technologies and understand how they can be applied to solve business problems
  • Deliver on multi million dollar projects on time and under budget managing projects through tools like MS project and utilizing Kan Ban boards to track progress.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business, and external vendors
  • The aptitude to multi-task and learn new software, hardware, and processes quickly and simultaneously; a willingness to progress; a high standard of integrity and dependability working autonomously in ambiguous high-pressure environments
  • Self starter who is able to work with general direction and will follow up with questions
  • Sound decision-making to critically think through a problem and the intellectual curiosity to pursue the solution

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 2 years experience with Technical Security, project management, and/or product management
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and/or similar project management tools
  • Knowledge of physical security technology systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection), and basic IT networking and infrastructure design
  • Experience implementing physical, technical, and administrative controls
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technology related field
  • Relevant experience in information security or technology controls
  • Basic knowledge of agile methodologies of software development
