Job :QA Tester

Location

  • Harrisburg, PA (Remote)

  • In-person interview preferred

  • Local candidates to Harrisburg, PA only

  • QA Tester responsible for planning, designing, and executing tests in an Agile environment

  • Works closely with Test Teams, Application Teams, and Program Managers

  • Supports release control processes and ensures quality standards are met

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand the Test Team work plan

  • Plan, design, and execute product, system, unit, load, volume, and network tests

  • Identify, track, and resolve testing issues and risks

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data

  • Define entry and exit criteria for testing

  • Assist Application Teams with component and assembly testing

  • Participate in release testing and installation procedures

  • Maintain and update testing standards, processes, and documentation

  • Assist in test environment planning and management

  • Conduct structured walkthroughs and inspections

  • Communicate clear and accurate status updates to stakeholders

  • Monitor estimated vs actual task completion times

  • Guide and support junior testers as needed

  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements

  • Follow quality standards and best practices

  • Work effectively in a team environment

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Tester in an Agile testing environment

  • 3+ years of iOS mobile application testing experience

  • Strong experience in manual testing

  • Experience with test planning, test execution, and defect tracking

  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC

  • Ability to identify risks and resolve issues proactively

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
