Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design:
    • Develop high-level and detailed network designs for enterprise, data center, and cloud environments.
    • Create network roadmaps ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Implementation & Support:
    • Lead deployment of network solutions across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDN, and cloud environments.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Design and enforce network security standards, including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and segmentation.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, NIST, PCI, etc.).
  • Optimization & Innovation:
    • Analyze network performance and recommend enhancements.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies (SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, etc.) for business adoption.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Cloud, Security, Application) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
    • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: One or more Cisco certifications preferred: CCIE (Enterprise, Data Center, Security, Service Provider), CCNP, CCDP, CCDA, CCNA.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3+ years in architecture/design roles.
    • Strong background in routing, switching, wireless, and security.
    • Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, VoIP, and multicast.
    • Familiarity with automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
    • Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
