Technical Sales Executive
Location: San Antonio, Texas (Hybrid/Onsite)
Our client, a fast-growing, private equity backed Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive growth across Texas. The firm specializes in delivering tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, combining deep technical expertise with a consultative, partnership-driven approach.
This senior, client-facing role is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships, advising business leaders on IT initiatives, and ensuring technology solutions align with client goals. The position blends business development with technical consulting and requires strong executive communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients, advising on IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions
- Develop and maintain 18 24 month technology roadmaps and IT budgets to align technology with client objectives
- Lead executive meetings, presentations, and roadmap reviews with decision-makers
- Gather client feedback and analyze industry best practices to guide strategic planning
- Oversee new client onboarding to ensure seamless integration and strong partnerships from day one
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, roadmaps, and forecasted implementations in internal systems
- Support delivery of IT solutions by prioritizing initiatives and educating clients on services and upgrades
Qualifications:
- 5 10+ years of experience in IT consulting, client success, or account management within an MSP or technology services environment
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and business-aligned IT strategy
- Proven ability to manage client roadmaps, IT budgets, and complex projects
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
