Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Application Developer with expertise in user-mode development or kernel-level programming for Windows systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to file integrity monitoring, event tracing, and cybersecurity use cases, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Candidate must be okay with hybrid schedule either in Philadelphia, PA or Mt Laurel, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop user-mode software and applications to meet the organization's expanding cybersecurity needs.
  • Work with event tracing mechanisms in Windows to collect and format data for file integrity monitoring purposes.
  • Collaborate with teams on Windows driver development projects, bringing current, in-depth expertise to enhance system capabilities.
  • Utilize and extend open-source tools like Windows OS Query, ensuring familiarity with its ecosystem and functionality.
  • Write clean, efficient code in Python or Go for implementation and automation tasks while adhering to best practices.
  • Leverage Git and GitLab CI/CD methodologies for collaborative development and streamlined deployment.
  • Work closely with developers, the CPOC, and the Director in a structured interview process to ensure aligned goals and secure project success.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven experience in user-mode or kernel development, specializing in Windows event tracing and file integrity monitoring.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows driver development with an active, in-depth knowledge of the domain.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS Query, especially its implementation and role in cybersecurity contexts.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and application development.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control, GitLab workflows, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, continuous learning mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
