Who we are looking for...

Campbell's Human Resources team is seeking an Enterprise Architect, Marketing who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, has a transformational mindset, and values the opportunity to drive digital transformation across our enterprise. You are an expert in Marketing technologies and business drivers in CPG industry.

In this role you will:
  • Facilitate alignment between business and IT, and across the democratized IT landscape.
  • Engage business and IT stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Adapt to changing business and operating models.
  • Analyze trends and disruptions and assess their impact on targeted business outcomes.
  • Tell stories to visualize the future state and trigger long-term planning.
  • Support various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric.
  • Communicate the value of enterprise architecture, and its portfolio of services.
  • Drive the evolution of the EA team's services and operating model.
  • Coach and mentor other architects, product owners/managers and business stakeholders to instill architectural thinking.

What you will do...
  • Drive EA activities with a 'business outcome' lens
  • Build and evolve a business technology strategy in Marketing including the strategic roadmap for IT systems, domain specific analytics, and integration landscape.
  • Lead development of IT strategies and roadmaps to drive investments in enterprise capabilities.
  • Establish application and technology portfolio management processes and tools to provide transparency and reduce technical debt.
  • Communicate technical roadmaps to align IT priorities with business partners.
  • Identify opportunities to digitize business processes and experience with internal innovation teams.
  • Lead architecture governance, technology standards processes and reference architecture development.
  • Evaluate business, information, application, and technology views of the solutions and identify risks.
  • Remain intimate and knowledgeable on cloud technologies and cloud and hybrid cloud frameworks.
  • Monitor new technological advances in application development and information technologies.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to understand and translate business objectives into technological solutions.
  • Define and improve architecture processes and artifacts.
  • Contribute to peer reviews, technical audits, and technology standards.
  • Collaborate with and mentor other enterprise and solution architects.
  • Partner with product and service vendor partner
  • Functional knowledge of Marketing business processes, business drivers and opportunities.
  • Hands on experience architecting solutions in Marketing CPG including but not limited to Consumer/Customer engagement, Content management, PIM, Personalized marketing and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, define future-state business capabilities, and establish a technical vision for the Marketing domain.
  • Develop and promote technical roadmaps to modernize, enhance, and support the application set of Marketing business domain.
  • Own and be responsible for a cohesive technology landscape for Marketing business domain, within the framework of our Enterprise Architecture
  • Is engaged at all levels of the SDLC to oversee and guide technology processes and implementation of solutions.
  • Provide architectural leadership to the delivery teams, either formally or informally
  • Provide architectural leadership on multiple complex projects and business technologies.
  • Research current and emerging technology and engage with other architects to innovate in a risk appropriate manner to accelerate corporate growth.
  • Provide support to management on build vs buy analysis and decisions.
  • Serve as the architecture lead on large projects identifying gaps and designing ecosystem components.
  • Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with the organization's reference architecture.
  • Support IT leadership in financial planning and timing of solution delivery.
  • Mentor and coach others and provide input on performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to maturing EA practice at Campbells.

What you bring to the table...
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience as an Enterprise architect in Supply Chain
  • 4-5 years of experience in other technical roles such as solution architect
  • Demonstrated experience architecting solutions in Marketing.
  • CPG experience is required.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
  • Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.
  • Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
  • Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric and different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
  • Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
  • Effective leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Strong consulting skills such as targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management and business development.
  • Mastery of all components of enterprise architecture, business & IT principles, and processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$85,900-$140,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
