Role Summary: Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in new equipment introduction (fabrication, assembly, and qualification)
Assist in Process Validation activities for new test processes (work instruction development and process validation execution)
Report/document results of tests and measures. Ensure compliance and quality of all activities
Works on projects, often requiring independent decision-making

Role Summary: Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC product development and manufacturing. Assignments may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in new equipment introduction (fabrication, assembly, and qualification)
  • Assist in Process Validation activities for new test processes (work instruction development and process validation execution)
  • Report/document results of tests and measures. Ensure compliance and quality of all activities
  • Works on projects, often requiring independent decision-making

Essential Responsibilities
  • Co-lead process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence.
  • Support in product qualification package.
  • Opportunity to learn and execute Lean Six Sigma tools and make positive impact to the business.
  • Conducting data collection and learn to apply data-driven analytical approach to problem solving.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • A full-time student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or another related technical discipline.
  • At least 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or another related technical discipline; minimum of sophomore year standing.
  • A GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • Must be willing to relocate
