Job Details

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall software development experience.

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting Okta-based IAM solutions.

  • 6+ years of strong technical expertise in IAM protocols, Okta configuration, and API security.

  • 6+ years of experience assisting with large-scale credential migrations, including migration of 350+ API credentials.

  • 6+ years of experience configuring Okta SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management for enterprise applications.

  • Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical leads to gather and understand requirements for application integration projects.

  • Design and implement secure Okta integrations for workforce, customer, and partner applications in alignment with enterprise security standards.

  • Configure and manage Okta components, including:

    • Single Sign-On (SSO)

    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

    • User lifecycle management

  • Work closely with IAM and API management teams to implement secure solutions involving credential vaults and automated password rotation.

  • Assist in the migration of 350+ API credentials, ensuring seamless, secure, and compliant transitions.

  • Develop and maintain identity provisioning and de-provisioning workflows, scripts, and integrations.

  • Ensure adherence to IAM best practices for authentication, authorization, and token management.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Okta, integration, and access-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Okta implementation and configuration.

  • Deep understanding of IAM protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.

  • Experience working with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee).

  • Solid understanding of API credential migration processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with API security, token lifecycle management, and access controls.
