Job Details
Full Stack Developer @ Dallas, TX - Onsite Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and SCSS, and have experience in popular JavaScript technologies such as React for frontend and Node.js for backend. They should also have strong knowledge of database management using PostgreSQL, and be comfortable working with TypeScript and testing frameworks such as Mocha and Chai. Familiarity with Heroku is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications and APIs using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Design and implement efficient database structures using PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new features and maintain and update existing code
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Mocha and Chai
- Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Work with HTML, CSS, and SCSS to implement UI designs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong experience with React for frontend development
- Strong experience with Node.js for backend development
- Strong knowledge of database management using PostgreSQL
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and SCSS for frontend development
- Experience working with TypeScript
- Experience writing and maintaining tests using Mocha and Chai
- Experience working with Git, Agile methodologies, and JIRA
- Familiarity with Heroku is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
