Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Mixed-Methods Researcher to help shape and improve end-to-end software experiences across consumer-facing products. In this role, you will generate deep user insights by combining qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform product strategy, design decisions, and engineering priorities.
  • You will work closely with Product Management, UX Design, Engineering, and Analytics partners to ensure software experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and grounded in real user needs. This role is ideal for a researcher who can move fluidly between rich qualitative inquiry and data-driven analysis to tell a cohesive user story.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mixed-methods research initiatives across software experiences, including core features, system interfaces, onboarding flows, and cross-platform interactions.
  • Design and conduct qualitative research such as usability testing, interviews, diary studies, and contextual inquiry to uncover user needs and pain points.
  • Design, execute, and analyze quantitative research including surveys, behavioral data analysis, and experimental insights to validate findings at scale.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights that influence product direction and prioritization.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Analysts throughout the product development lifecycle from early discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Communicate research findings through compelling narratives, presentations, and artifacts tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure research insights are embedded into product and development workflows..
  • Contribute to research best practices, methodological rigor, and shared learning within the research organization.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience conducting user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Demonstrated experience with usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate insights into product impact.
  • Experience researching consumer software products, platforms, or ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data, experimentation frameworks, or telemetry/usage data.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced product environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
