RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join their team.
Overview:
The candidate will support a variety of applications but will mainly focus on an initiative having a process of combining new apps to create one unified portal for associates. The team is currently rewriting the backend flows and moving it into Google Cloud Platform; with it all mainly Java 21+ and migrating off of Informix to a new data source (elastic). Lastly, the team heavily uses AI and are integrating a lot of the API's into different models; as a result having AI/LLM experience is ideal. Overall, they are seeking a strong communicator who is skilled, as this is a high visibility project with heavy engagement with business and stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-8+ years of experience in Java 17+
* Expertise in Spring boot
* Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (and its functions)
* Experience with Gen AI tools/technology, specifically LLM's
* Experience with Gemini a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
