Job Description
We are seeking Engineers & Designers to collaborate closely with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) engineers in developing components and system designs. These designs will support handling, lifting, testing, assembly, and transportation of mechanical and electrical components. The role involves creating and maintaining engineering documentation, CAD models, and drawings, as well as supporting cross-disciplinary product development.

Position: Design Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking Engineers & Designers to collaborate closely with Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) engineers in developing components and system designs. These designs will support handling, lifting, testing, assembly, and transportation of mechanical and electrical components. The role involves creating and maintaining engineering documentation, CAD models, and drawings, as well as supporting cross-disciplinary product development.
Responsibilities
- Utilize CREO to develop plans, drawings, and models; revise and initiate formats for parts, assemblies, and installation engineering.
- Create new parts, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), assemblies, simplified representations, and shrinkwraps.
- Provide design expertise and support to team members.
- Complete layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices (ASME Y14.5).
- Prepare complete production detail drawings.
- Implement design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional experience using a 3D CAD system (e.g., Creo, NX, SolidWorks).
- Experience with machine tool design or tool modification.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
