Job Details
Title: Workday Project Manager
Location:St. Paul,MN
Duration: 6-12 Plus month Contract
- The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for working with client's senior leadership, project leads, other campuses, and vendors to: Oversee and coordinate the operational effectiveness of the recently implemented Workday administrative information system.
- Act as a bridge between the technical aspects of the system and the business needs of the organization, ensuring the system continues to deliver value and support business goals.
- Develop a detailed project plan that accounts for time, resources, risks, and costs, involving various stakeholders.
- Provide support and team leadership to ensure the project staff complete tasks on time.
- Facilitate project planning and check-in meetings.
- Track and communicate project status reports or presentations to stakeholders and executives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to create impactful reporting on behalf of the organization.
- Document and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with the system office senior leadership, project leads, campuses, contractor/vendors and create project plans with clear milestones.
- Adhere to client's policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Facilitate planning discussions with technical and business teams within and external to client.
- Capture and record meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly.
- Effectively balance the needs of the client, team, timeline, and solution scope.
Required Skills
Candidates submitted by respondents must have the following skills:
- Five (5) years of project management experience.
- Two (2) engagements as a project manager for a large-scale implementation or post-implementation project
- Three (3) years of proven ability to prioritize work in a high-pressure stressful environment
- Understanding of Finance, HR, and technical business processes
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across executive and operational levels.
Desired Skills
The following skills are desired for candidates submitted by respondents:
- Three (3) years of experience working in a government and/or public higher education environment specifically as a project manager
- Three (3) years engagement with ERP systems, such as Workday
- Demonstrated success in management of large, complex, multi-campus (multi-site) administrative technology.
- Experience or knowledge with Workday Finance, HCM, or Payroll modules.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify Yaskawa robot programs based on project specs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.
Collaborate with engineering and production for system integration.
Perform system testing and validation.
