Senior Business Analyst, Workday Adaptive Planning
RAND seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in Workday Adaptive Planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administrating our organization's Workday Adaptive Planning system.
RAND uses Adaptive Planning as its pre-award proposal pricing and post-award project budgeting system. This role will liaison closely with and provide direct support to our Proposal Development Services and Research Financial Operations teams.

Senior Business Analyst, Workday Adaptive Planning
RAND seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst, specializing in Workday Adaptive Planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administrating our organization's Workday Adaptive Planning system.
RAND uses Adaptive Planning as its pre-award proposal pricing and post-award project budgeting system. This role will liaison closely with and provide direct support to our Proposal Development Services and Research Financial Operations teams.
Role & responsibilities
- Provide advanced level day-to-day support for Workday Adaptive Planning users, including troubleshooting technical issues and providing expert guidance on system-related questions.
- Administer the Workday Adaptive Planning platform, including user management, data integration, model and formula building, system configuration and reporting.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations within Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements in Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Maintain and support integrations between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
- Support and develop client facing and internal reporting solutions using OfficeConnect
- Conduct comprehensive system audits to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
- Develop and deliver advanced training materials and sessions for end-users to promote system adoption and proficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Workday Adaptive Planning to recommend and implement strategic improvements.
Qualifications
- 9 plus years of business analysis and/& corporate planning experience
- Proven accomplishment as a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect or similar financial planning and analysis tools (such as Hyperion Planning).
- Familiarity with government contracting, budgeting, and pricing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Workday Financials Experience and Workday Reporting Writing capabilities is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Workday Adaptive Planning certification is highly desired.
