Job Title: IT Analyst (Design Operations Specialist)

Location: Remote (PST/CST hours)

Contract length: 8 months - potential to extend

Pay Rate: up to $43/hr.

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Design Operations Specialist to join its Print and Demand team. In this role, you will support the deployment of a new SAP version across manufacturing sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Responsibilities include managing data, optimizing labeling processes, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and global stakeholders, driving process standardization, compliance, and efficiency across labeling, relabeling, and design-related workflows. This position also plays a critical role in continuous improvement initiatives and global alignment of design operations.

What You'll Do
  • Clean and upload unstructured data into SAP for deployment.
  • Support Process Integration Testing (PIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and rollout activities.
  • Standardize labeling workflows and manage print-on-demand tools (Codesoft, Prism, Print Demand).
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, R&D, and Quality.
  • Create documentation, reports, and work instructions for new processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, QMS, and the client's packaging policies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Deployment & Testing:
    • Support and/or lead Process Integration Testing (PIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Day in the Life (DITL) activities for new functionality rollouts.
  • Labeling & Relabeling Standardization:
    • Develop and implement standardized processes.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clarity on current workflows, change impacts, and change management needs.
  • Operational Support:
    • Provide support to Senior Project Analysts to enable smooth operations.
    • Serve as first point of contact for internal customers globally to clarify processes and resolve issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders including Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, R&D, Quality, and Customer Service.
  • Service & Quality Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement and lead/participate in initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert.
    • Implement error detection, correction mechanisms, and process controls.
  • Global Alignment:
    • Ensure global consistency in Design Operations standards, workflows, and application operations.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Drive or lead urgent/special request projects within the Design Operations stream.
  • System & SLA Management:
    • Complete tasks within SLA targets.
    • Collaborate with system administrators for enhancements and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence:
    • Ensure compliance with national/international marking laws and Company's Corporate Packaging Policy.
    • Apply Global Shipper Label Policy guidelines and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create and maintain work instructions for transitions, system changes, and new processes.
    • Develop regular and ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis.
  • Process Improvement & Automation:
    • Lead service transitions and process improvement workshops.
    • Maintain or propose automated solutions to enhance daily operations.
  • Ethics & Standards:
    • Apply Company's ethical principles and adhere to ISO and QMS standards in daily work.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform additional design and project management tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.


Must-Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

3+ years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry (mandatory).

SAP experience (data cleaning and upload).

Advanced Excel and data management skills.

Print and Demand labeling experience (Codesoft, Prism, Print Demand).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to manage multiple site requests effectively.

Experience in design operations, project coordination, or process improvement.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards (ISO, QMS).

Proficiency in workflow systems and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UAT and process testing.

Familiarity with Loftware or Codesoft for labeling.

Knowledge of ISO and QMS standards.
